Clinical Operations Manager

Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000, commensurate with experience

Summary

The Clinical Training Operations Manager oversees the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of clinical education initiatives, ensuring seamless operations and alignment with business objectives. This role encompasses project management, stakeholder collaboration, and process optimization to enhance the effectiveness of in-person and online training programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, passionate about clinical education, and experienced in managing multiple projects within the medical aesthetics or healthcare organization.

 

Essential Functions

  • Develop, manage, and oversee clinical training programs for customers, sales teams, and internal staff
  • Ensure training content aligns with clinical best practices, product positioning, and commercial objectives
  • Oversee the scheduling, logistics, and execution of in-person and virtual training programs
  • Manage training materials, including presentations, manuals, and digital content
  • Evaluate and optimize training effectiveness through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics
  • Develop project plans, set milestones, and track progress to ensure timely execution of training programs
  • Manage training budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, sales, marketing, and product teams to align training programs with business needs
  • Establish standardized procedures and best practices for training operations and identify areas for process optimization to improve efficiency and training impact
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and continuing education requirements

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in clinical operations, business admiration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in clinical training, medical education, or healthcare operations
  • PMP software experience. Wrike experience and/or Scrum Master, Agile Project Management certifications are a plus.
  • CRM software experience. Salesforce and/or certification in this field are a plus.
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training platforms


Supervisory Responsibility

This position has will have one direct report and will be responsible in mentoring peers and other departments as needed.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. (Add anything that may be strange about the position ie employee must be ok visiting Medical offices)

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

 

Travel

This position requires 15 – 25 % travel where creative support is required
