Recruiter

Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000, commensurate with experience 

 

This position is on-site, full-time, located at our Corporate Headquarters in Buffalo Grove, IL

Summary

The Recruiter will need to actively search and recruit a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for Alma. Someone who will see success in this position will be able to understand a diverse range of job responsibilities. This person will be able to actively reach out and attract talented individuals to the Alma team. This position will need someone who is outgoing and personable, with the ability to pivot and remove roadblocks.

 

Essential Functions

  • Facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed; accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and utilizes efficient; effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Responsible for job posting/advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Actively search out candidates, and identify passive candidates through professional networking sites like LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
  • Schedule interviews: oversees preparation of interview selection materials if needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors to identify candidates.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • At least 2 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience sourcing and hiring Sales is highly preferred.

  • Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • ADP or LinkedIn Recruiter or Comeet experience, preferred but not required.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports but assists in mentoring peers and other departments as needed.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
